No. Posting is free and there is no subscription. You only pay once you have chosen a freelancer, or approved our estimate, and decided to go ahead.
Freelancers bid on public projects, and for private projects our team prepares an estimate. You pay the freelancer's price plus a 10% SmartCodeDev fee (minimum $15 per project), which covers vetting, project management and payment protection. For example, a $1,000 bid costs you $1,100. The fee is shown on every bid and estimate, and nothing else is added at checkout.
You pay SmartCodeDev securely online through Stripe. We hold the payment and release it to the freelancer only after the work is delivered.
All communication goes through SmartCodeDev. That keeps a clear record, protects your contact details and the freelancer's, and means we can step in if anything goes off track. Just email or call us with questions.
